If you ever wondered what your black co-workers, neighbors or even family members (for the interracial folks!) are currently thinking then you need to watch the show Blackish! I haven’t been an avid watcher but one of the most recent episodes titled, “Hope” is cause for me to be a tremendous fan!
Why you ask… the Blackish episode “Hope” is so poignant, beautiful and brilliant because it captures the difficult conversation of racial injustice but in a very heartfelt way. Its focus is on the conversations that all Black families are having across the country, but behind closed-doors. I know I’m often guarded or will bite my tongue so as not to be perceived as the angry, radical black woman.
So if you want to know what your black co-workers, colleagues or friends are really saying you must watch this episode.
